Parking
Patients are requested to park in one of the pay and display car parks on the City Hospital Campus.The payment machines for parking require exact change. The area in front of the building is a drop off zone only.There are designated parking spaces for the disabled drivers immediately outside the building on the right hand side.
Transport
If you have come by arranged Transport, please contact reception as soon as you are ready to leave. Taxis can be called from the public telephone in the reception hall.
Refreshments
Refreshments can be purchased for the Coffee City Outlet in the main Atrium. There are chilled water dispensers in all waiting areas.
Public Telephones
There is a public telephone in the main reception area.
Toilets
Toilets are available with baby changing facilities, off the main reception hall and in the waiting room.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones should be switched off or put on silent whilst in the building as a courtesy to others.
Donations
If you would like to make a donation to the breast Institute there are donation boxes located on either side of the main reception.
Staff in Training
Training and education for NHS staff is essential. As a specialist centre there are likely to be staff in training in the centre. Staff will generally be qualified professional staff developing skills in this specialist area. Please let a member of staff know if you feel strongly about the presence of staff in training.
Comments
Comments on the service and facilities from patients are welcomed. Comment sheets are available in the waiting areas and can be placed in the comments box at main reception.
