Consultant Surgeons

Mr Kwok-Leung Cheung MB BS, DM, FRCSEd, FCSHK, FHKAM (Surgery), FACS is Clinical Associate Professor, University of Nottingham, and Consultant Breast Surgeon and Head of Service, Breast Services, Nottingham University Hospitals.

Mr Cheung qualified and trained at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. He joined the Nottingham unit as a consultant breast surgeon in 2001. He is currently Head of Service for Breast Services and Lead Clinician for Breast Cancer at Nottingham University Hospitals. His clinical and research interests cover most fields of breast cancer, including early, advanced and recurrent disease, and endocrine therapy. He represents East Midlands in the Breast Faculty of the Association of Breast Surgery. He was selected by the American College of Surgeons as one of International Guest Scholars in 2007. He is member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Mastology and British Association of Cancer Surgery.
