Andrew was appointed to Nottingham City Hospital in 1998 as a Consultant Histopathologist with an interest in breast disease and has been lead breast pathologist since 2000. He has contributed to over 60 publications on breast disease and his research interests include core biopsy diagnosis, spindle cell lesions of the breast and the role of inflammation in breast cancer. He is a member of the UK National Co-ordinating Committee for Breast Pathology and chairs the group that organises the National Breast Pathology Update courses. He lectures regularly in the UK and abroad.
