Patients with Symptoms
Patients who report symptoms or a family history of breast cancer should make an appointment with their GP for a consultation in the first instance.
General Practitioners will refer those requiring further investigation to the Institute.
Patients will be invited to the institute at an appointed date and time.
Routine Breast Screening
A routine mammography (breast x-ray) screening service is offered to all women between 50 and 73 who are automatically invited once every three years.
Appointments for this service are offered at the City Hospital, Ropewalk House (in the Centre of Nottingham) or at one of several outreach services across Nottinghamshire.
