Consultant Surgeons

Consultant breast surgeons are doctors skilled in physical examination of the breast and performing operative procedures on the breast.

These operations range from simple removal of lumps under local anaesthetic to complex breast reconstruction operations which can take many hours. Surgeons, along with oncologists decide what additional treatments other than surgery are required in patients with breast cancer.
