Radiographic Staff
Breast radiographers are trained to perform mammograms ( a special x-ray of the breast), as well as various special x-rays of the breast to look at mammographic abnormalities more closely.
Radiographers also help perform x-ray (stereotactic) guided biopsies of the breast. Some radiographers have taken on additional roles such as reading screening mammograms, performing biopsies and teaching.
